The objective

The main objective in TSG Warzone is to be the first team to reach 1000 points. Points can be obtained by:

Capturing Zones

Capturing zones unlocks the ability to spawn around that zone for your team as well as begins passive point gain of one point per five seconds per captured zone. There are three capturable zones which each use the Strongholds capture logic; enemy progress on the zone can be instantly reset if no enemies are present in the zone. 20 seconds to capture.

AI encounters

Killing the boss of an AI encounter grants the specified point amount to the team of the player who dealt the killing blow. Securing these boss kills for your team can quickly turn the tide of the game, but be prepared to invest time and resources into fighting the bosses; they are no easy feat. The exact boss spawn times can be found here: Skirmish at Darkstar, March on World's End.

The AI in TSG Warzone are adjusted to generally be stronger than ususal to emphasize the need for using weapons with specific damage types to kill them. Each AI is weak to one of the following damage types:

And the remaining damage types have more general uses:

Destroying the Core

The enemy team's Core is located in the Home Base and can be exposed by capturing all three zones at once. Destroying the enemy core results in an instant victory for the destroying team. The core can be damaged with any damage type, but it's most weak to Plasma and Hardlight.

Points and Level

The sandbox of TSG Warzone is vast, and points and level determine which items can be obtained at each moment. Points are personal to each player and are used to purchase items. Points can be earned throughout the match by:

The level is a global value from 1–9 which determines the tier of items that can be obtained. The match starts at level 1 and increases based on the combined points of both teams. Once the level increases to a whole number, a new tier of items can be obtained.

To get an idea of what items you can find in each tier, take a look at the following tables:

Radial Menu

The radial menu is an interface used to choose what items you want to obtain. The menu can be accessed from item stations located in the Home Bases and at each capturable zone, or at any time while dead by using the custom input key.

The menu can be navigated on controller with the thumbsticks and various input buttons for selection, and on keyboard with either the mouse, or via WASD and Spacebar.

The Radial Menu

The menu features categories for each item group, and categories with lots of items—mainly the Weapons category—feature pages that you can quickly jump to in order to get to your desired item as quickly as possible. Items you currently cannot obtain are greyed out.

Preserved items on respawn

The Loadout Weapons and Ability Boosts are free to obtain and retain after dying. Higher tiers of these unlock as the game progresses and the level increases.

It's integral to keep upgrading your loadout as better items unlock so you don't get stuck with bad starter items and lose the basic fights when other players have realized to progress forward.
